Making the decision to honor others even when it makes us uncomfortable causes us to grow and develop in areas where we need it the most. It takes maturity to place the needs of others ahead of our own. This doesn’t mean that we should compromise our beliefs or put ourselves in harm’s way, but to live peacefully with one another. Honoring others should not be a burden but a blessing. We should never forget that we will reap whatever we have sown. I encourage you to make the decision to start honoring other people in ways that are a blessing to them, and watch God use others to honor you in ways that will bless you abundantly.
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” Galatians 6:9-10
